Had a great time with my family here! Love love love the show at the crocseum and the Tiger Temple... However, the weather is very hot and there wasn't much shaded area.... Guides are helpful and very friendly... Kangaroos are clean and the koalas are furry! Great experience!

We have an amazing day at Australia Zoo. It is a great family day with so much to see. Our beautiful animals are being cared for with such respect and I think the staff there are dedicated to ensuring that the are safe and that their Interactions with the public calm and non invasive. We were given a chance to see the Irwins in action and their passion for the Animals and environmental issues will ensure a much brighter future for many animals and for Australia. Led by the amazing Terri, they give you an insight into the animals, and you come away with a lot more knowledge and understanding. Terri, Bindi and Robert all exude passion and respect for not only the animals but also the staff working with them. They are a close knit family with a mission - Steve would be very proud! This zoo is more about endangered animals and their future than the public and you feel Privileged to see these beautiful creatures as they go about their daily lives. The bond between animal and handler is very close and it is easy to see the passion in everyone working at the zoo.

Awesome experience! We went to Australia Zoo and it was amazing! We took our 2 kids - 5 years old & 2 years old. They loved it! The main show at midday was unmissable! Seeing a crocodile live in action was incredible, both our kids were mesmerised! The bird show was just incredible too! Definitely plan to spend a full day at the zoo, but worth it! Australia Zoo is a place everyone needs to visit! Loved having a cuddle and a photo with a koala too :) Lots of food on offer to cater for everyone, a little pricey, but we expected that, so not a surprise. Overall the experience was just incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Visited the Zoo with my mum. The location isn't convenient as it takes 2 hours of transport from Brisbane to there. The number of animals is way less than the ones from Taronga Zoo and they didn't have the elephants ready yet, which was a bit disappointing. I would say visiting Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is better since it is way closer to Brisbane, and a cheaper ticket. But the worst thing about the Zoo i s the food was very expensive and horrible. Most of the food was sold out too. As a Zoo which aims at conservation, I was a bit shocked. Shouldn't they sell healthy and eco friendly food instead of microwave lasagna, hotdog and chips?

Fantastic place. We took our 3 children aged 9, 8 and 5 years. They had the best time. We got to ride a camel, cuddle a koala and hold a snake. The kids came home with smiles from ear to ear.

Recently visited your Zoo with grandkids and had a great day. Disappointed that there were no elephants there nor was the animal hospital open. One suggestion is please provide more shade for your tourists and seating along the walkways to the various animal enclosures. There is lots of shade for your animals but not much for your visitors. It was a hot day when we were there. Keep up the good work. As our visit was during the school hols we had hoped to see Bindy or Bob, but no!

If you have a soft spot for animals of all sizes then Australia Zoo is simply a must when in Queensland. Carrying on the amazing work of Australian Icon Steve Irwin, Australia Zoo is the home to many animals and the best part is you can be a part of it too. I need to go back and spend an entire day there to fully grasp all the zoo has to offer. Our tiger encounter was definitely an amazing once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to others, especially given the rate at which tigers are becoming endangered. Australia Zoo allows you to sit beside and touch a real live, breathing tiger. This is something words cannot describe…it was purely magical being this close to such a big jungle giant and it’s something I will get to tell my kids about when I get older.

We had a really great day as I hadn’t been to the zoo for ten years and Larna for 15 years. Thought that the animal displays were excellent and there was plenty of opportunity to interact with the animals when they brought them around. The main show in the Crocoseum was awesome with the amount of animals shown to the crowd and the level of training that has obviously gone into creating the show. We would definitely recommend the zoo to any of our guests. Our only disappointment of the day was that the cheetahs were not available for viewing.

The Giraffe Encounter was so much fun and soooooo personal and informative. The staff were exceptional and very well trained in their field. It was actually quite amazing being up so close to them and have the experience of feeding them by hand and mouth!!!! Can you believe!!! Shaz and I both appreciated this opportunity and will certainly be able to spread the news about this fabulous experience for those attending the amazing Australia Zoo. Thanks again.

Australia Zoo is really cool! There is so much to see there and I loved being able to get my picture taken with the snakes (although this was really scary). The live crocodile show is the best! Would highly recommend Australia Zoo for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast.

My trip to the Australia zoo was great. The new Africa part of the zoo is amazing.. The Africa area is a fun short ride away from the main zoo in an open air zebra shuttle. We got dropped off at "AFRICA" An amazing large area full of animals from Africa after a 200mtr walk to the end your met by some men from africa playing the drums, plenty of spare drums for anyone to join in,, and at 1.30pm they have a music workshop. I believe in months to come they will also have a cheetah running track..etc
